Charlotte joined the Medical Products Agency autumn 2008. Prior to this she worked for the Government Offices of Sweden for 10 years as Deputy Director including the Ministry of the Environment and Permanent Representation of Sweden to the European Union. Charlotte has mainly worked as EU and UN negotiator, including the position as the Swedish government’s chief negotiator for one of EU: s largest legislations, the new legislation on chemicals, REACH. She specializes in communication challenges between people with different disciplines and priorities e.g. economy, environment, health. Prior to the Government Offices Charlotte held different manager positions at the National Chemicals Agency including areas as genetically modified organisms, pesticides, biocides.
